Student job software development (m/d/w)

INB Vision GmbH, a company of the Micro-Epsilon Group, develops and sells systems for optical 3D surface inspection for quality assurance and process controlling. 

With the sensors and processes we have developed, the smallest defects can be detected in point clouds obtained by 3D measurement. Robotic systems are used for the production and application of these sensors in order to automate the processes and achieve positions and orientations in space reliably and accurately. These systems require a carefully developed and tested software framework.

Software development plays a central role in the realization of this demanding task. Algorithms, connection to hardware components, communication via various network protocols, auxiliary functions and auxiliary programs or the development of complex applications - all these topics are part of the daily software development tasks at INB Vision.

Tasks

As a working student, you will be a fully-fledged member of the software development team and can look forward to a wide range of exciting and challenging activities.

Fields of activity

• Development and implementation of new software components, such as algorithms and connection of hardware components
• Extraction of existing software components in libraries and development of interfaces
• Test design and implementation
• Setting up CI/CD

Your Profile

• Team player
• Personal responsibility
• Good knowledge of concepts such as object orientation
• Good programming skills, in languages such as C/C++, Python and Matlab
• Good mathematical skills
• German language skills of at least B1 level are required to be able to communicate sufficiently within the team.
